Howdy Rebounders, Welcome to our thirty first newsletter! This month we're launching our fourth new product for this year – Book Spine Magnets! We have trips to markets in Brisbane and Canberra coming up, as well as new options for buying gifts in our online shop! Our fund-raising initiative for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation raised $125 in October through sales on our ILF Sale Items page, bringing our total donation so far this year to $245. There's always more and new things being added to our ILF Sale Items page, so do have a peek when you're next browsing our store. Both us Rebound Books folks, and the ILF, thank you for your support! New Product: Book Spine Magnets

Our mission at Rebound is to continually design and make beautiful and useful stationery, while making use of all the parts of old books. Today we are proud to launch our newest addition to our range, Book Spine Magnets!

Each Book Spine Magnet is made from an original book spine, and is backed with a heavy duty magnetic strip that we have enclosed in an original page from a book. Decorative and useful, our Book Spine Magnets are super sturdy and a force to be reckoned with! One magnet on your fridge or filing cabinet makes a statement, several together create a bookshelf of striking colours and design.

Our Online Shop: Creative Gifts and Make My Parcel Fancy!

It is the time of year when shopping for gifts is high up on the list of things to do. At Rebound, we would like to encourage you to get creative with your gift giving this season! There is nothing more special than a thoughtful and creative gift.   Our Journals and Sketchbooks could be the perfect vehicle for long distance correspondence between you and someone who is far away. Or a place to write ideas, dreams, developments and big projects. Our Photo Albums can be filled with photos and shared memories and then given as gifts. Perfect for Kris Kringle or that little something special are our Pocket Books, Bookmark packs and brand new Book Spine Magnets.   Our brand new 2012 Wall Calendars are a great gift for a household, and our much loved 2012 Diaries are an excellent gift for those who grew up reading Little Golden Books. We are adding new items to our online shop every week, so if there is something in particular you were after, keep checking or contact us to see what else we have in stock.   If you have a book you'd like us to turn into something special, it's not too late! Custom orders take about 2 weeks, so now is the perfect time to get in touch so we can get started on making something especially for you.  When buying a gift from our online store you can choose to have us make your parcel fancy and send it directly on your behalf at no extra cost. Just check the 'Yes, please!' box on your cart page, type your personal message, and make sure to include the recipients address in the shipping field. Perfect for gift giving interstate and overseas! If you're in Melbourne, you can select the 'Collect@RoseSt' option when you checkout, and save yourself the cost of postage. We'll be at Rose St every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas Eve, so there are plenty of opportunities to collect your order.

Brisbane and Canberra Markets

We're taking two road trips to interstate markets this year. This weekend we'll be at the Finders Keepers Market in Brisbane, and later this month we'll be heading to the Undercurrent Design Market in Canberra. We will have our full range for sale at each of these markets, so come along and browse to find the perfect gift.. or a little something for yourself! Melbourne Markets & Melbournalia

There are 8 weekends until Christmas, and if you're in Melbourne and want to browse our wares in person, you've got 16 market stalls to choose from! We will be at our regular Saturday and Sunday market stall at the Rose St Artists Market every weekend until Christmas, and we'll also have our first stall at Mark-it in Fed Square later this month.   Rose St Artists Market every Saturday and Sunday – final market for the year Sat 24th December 11am - 5pm 60 Rose St, Fitzroy Mark-it @ Fed Square Sunday 27th November 10am – 5pm The Atrium & BMW Edge Theatre Federation Square, Melbourne We're also very excited to be part of a very Melbourne enterprise called Melbournalia! Melbournalia is a pop-up retail space with stock from over 30 of our fellow Melbourne makers. All items make great gifts that can be easily posted for Christmas - and Melbournalia offers an in-store postal delivery service! The Melbournalia Home base will be at Level 1, Rear 126 Franklin Street, Melbourne City, and open from 10th November until Christmas Eve, as well as at four other unique locations in the Melbourne CBD. Melbournalia is hosting an opening party at their home base and all are welcome - Thursday 10th November 6-8pm.

Howdy Rebounders, Welcome to our twenty eighth newsletter! The weather in Melbourne over the past few days has warmed the workshop a treat and we've been working at a cracking pace! In our newsletter this month we're launching another brand new product! Last month it was our Graph Books, this month, A-Z Books! We have updated the details of our stockists online, and we're adding another Melbourne market stall to your weekend Rebound shopping options! In other news, we are incredibly close to finishing our 2012 Rebound Diaries, and you'll be first to know about them in our next newsletter. We are also about to get another brand new Rebound item into production next week and we'll have more details of that in the coming months. New Product: A-Z Books

We've had many requests for address books over the years and now we've got one for you! We have designed an alphabetised and lined A-Z Book for addresses, recipes, or anything else that you need to keep in order! We have used a beautiful range of second hand book covers to make our A-Z Books, and we've hand printed an original A-Z design on each cover. There are 5 gorgeous designs to choose from. Each A-Z Book is filled with alphabetised, lined paper. The paper is Australian made and 100% recycled, and the printing has been done locally in Melbourne by a carbon neutral printer.   There are 3 pages back and front per letter of the alphabet, with the exception of P and Q sharing 3 pages between them, and X,Y and Z sharing 3 pages between them. You can browse our A-Z Books in our online shop, and take a peek at our new Graph Books and other goodies while you're there!

Location, Location, Location!

If you're not in Melbourne, there are many options available to you to nab one of our creations. We have parts of our stationery range, including Journals, Bookmarks and our new A-Z Books, in shops around the country. The following good folks will have a range of new things, including our A-Z Books. She Seldom Blushes in Perth, Gleebooks and Planet (pictured) in Sydney, Wilkins & Kent, Five Boroughs, Brunswick Bound, Readings Carlton, Village Idiom in Melbourne, and Nook in Brisbane.

Rose St Market: Saturdays & Sundays

We've expanded our weekend to include not one but two markets!   From this weekend we'll be at the Rose St Artists Market in Fitzroy every Saturday and every Sunday from 11-5pm.   Come along and browse our full range in person!   Our stall is location just inside the big doors and we're there in any kind of weather!

Welcome to our twenty sixth newsletter! This month we are proud to be showing off an adorable new design for our pocket books, we're hitting the road to Adelaide for the Bowerbird market and we'll share with you details of a gorgeous shop that is now stocking our wares.

We're currently tinkering with 4 new products that will be launched in the second half of this year. We're looking forward to expanding our range and making a few things you're going to love using! Melbourne and Adelaide Markets
We will be at our regular spot at the Rose St Artists Market in Melbourne from 11am to 5pm every Saturday over the coming months.

We're heading to Adelaide this weekend for the Bowerbird Bazaar Market. We do love being part of Bowerbird and would love to see you there. We have a few new things to show you!

Rabbit Pocket Books and online bookshop
We've added an adorable new shape to our super handy sized pocket books – a rabbit! Designed by our talented friend Laura, who is also a member of the Rebound team, the rabbits are making their way to Adelaide and Rose St this weekend, and are waiting for you in our online bookshop! We've also added a new selection of bookmarks, journals, sketchbooks and photo albums for you to browse through.

New NSW Stockist
We're happy to be welcoming the Two Birds Gallery in Toowoon Bay to our list of stockists. They now have a beautiful selection of our journals in their store.
